Although I was 2 hours late to work .. geez .. the day ended up cool in some ways. I attended our Cooperative General Assembly today and it turned out alright plus we got to get our patronage refund from the year's operation. Cool. I ended up having my car's muffler fix because I've been running with a busted muffler and makes my car sound like a beat up truck rather than a car .. hehehe .. now my car sounds more of like a car. My father got his yacht fixed now and it's sailing. It's a luxury motor yacht and unfortunately it did look the part, but did not do what it was supposed to. I was reading the paper this morning and it's really sad how things are going on these days.
The problem with the world in general and the problem in mindanao to be specific ...... The other day we experienced a total blackout throughout Mindanao and indeed it was the handiworks of the rebels that blew up one strategic power line which cut off power through mindanao. Now, the headlines in PDI, that the rebels are really out to sabotage the powerlines in Mindanao to cripple the nation's economy. Whoa!!
my business runs on electricity here mac .... indeed it's really getting out of hand ... the Philippines is giving to much attention to the impending war between Iraq and US, which I know would somehow affect the Philippines, but somehow they are overlooking our own war going on which is slowly getting out of hand. These threats of toppling down powerlines are serious and they should look into these because indeed it could paralyze business operations and eventually lead to the collapse of the economy ... my business included ...
I wish I could have some magic power and turn things around the world. There is too much hatred going on in our world. Not only in our own country, the whole damn world is starting to get crazy. Tension is everywhere and fear is inevitable in everyone. Gee .. how power could turn one into a very vicious beast ... but true to itself, power can also tame the wildest beast in the land ... which goes first, you turning into a beast or you controlling the beast? think and you decide
